Automate the work you keep repeating.
A small automation takes a recurring job off someone’s hands. Based in New Jersey. We work remotely with businesses beyond our local area and meet nearby clients in person.
Possible applications
Illustrations, subject to scoping. They are not past projects, not a promise that they will work with your systems, and not a claim about time or money saved.
An enquiry, filed and flagged
- Someone sends the enquiry form on your website.
- Their details are added as a new row in your spreadsheet.
- You get a text saying who it is from.
- They get an automatic confirmation that it arrived.
A nightly summary
- Every night, at a set time, the automation runs on its own.
- It collects yesterday’s numbers from the system that holds them.
- It lays them out as a one-page email.
- The email is in your inbox in the morning.
Or write to info@plumbline.systems, or call (609) 232-2289.
Plumbline Systems is a small, woman-owned business based in New Jersey.
What this can look like
Possible jobs, not past work:
- An enquiry lands in a spreadsheet and sends you a text.
- An automatic confirmation goes to whoever enquired.
- A one-page email of yesterday’s numbers arrives each night.
- Monthly invoices are generated from a spreadsheet.
- Photos from a folder are posted on a schedule.
- A reorder alert comes when a count drops below a number you set.
- A form filled in on a phone becomes a PDF in the office inbox.
What it depends on
What is possible depends on the systems your business already uses, so we look at them first.
There is no list price. After we look, you get the scope and a fixed price in writing. If it cannot be done cleanly, we say so and charge nothing.
We do not take on payroll, tax or medical data.
What you own
The same ownership and handover terms as our websites apply: you own the code, and it is handed over working.
After handover
If anything is broken in the first 30 days, we fix it free. That covers things that are broken, not new work.
How it starts
Write or call. Matt replies personally, and you talk through what you need. That first conversation is free.
Before any work starts you get the scope and the price in writing.
What to tell us first
A sentence or two is enough. It helps to know:
- The task, and how often it comes round.
- Which programs or accounts it touches.
- Who does it now.
